Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Anna Gunn is a US actress. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint working in Chicago theater before transitioning to TV and film roles. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big character as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also part of her acting career. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes The Numbered Days series, which made available in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's personal life.
