Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Known for her portrayal as Jane Seymour , the young girl who will become queen of the third marriage to King Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her part as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem was a young actress who started her acting journey at nine in Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. As a youngster, she was involved in a variety of TV and radio productions, shows and productions throughout Iceland. Briem relocated from Iceland to London aged 16 and was a part of an opera called Lenin's Love. Briem 19 years old, she was admitted to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She studied there for three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. Briem following his graduation from RADA continued working in London theatre.
