The full title of Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th of 1989, in West Reading, Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became a popular artist and singer in the beginning of 2001 with her tales of heartache. Swift was a fan of music since a young time. She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and then performing before a large crowd. Swift in 2011, aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. In the year following, she started writing songs of her own. Swift had taken her ideas from Shania's music and that of the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm in country music created the songs of her own to convey the feeling of being alienated. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee at the age of 13 when they decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm. This enabled Swift to spend more time trying to find labels that would promote country music in Nashville.
